Hey guys, So I went to a Wizarding Convention last week... and it wound up having some consequences....

On the way back from the con, I ended up spinning off the road - totaling my car and leaving me injured. The injuries are not severe, but they (and a wrist injury the week before) were enough to knock my drawing hand out of commission for a bit. So while I am recuperating for the next week or so, this means that I will be skipping the next update of "My Life as a Naga." 

Sorry for all the trouble guys and thank you for all your support!! I hope to be back on task come the next update, so please look forward to it!!

HEY EVERYONE!! 

My Winter break has begun, which means I am going to try to get my life together. What does that mean for you?

Well for starters, My Life as a Naga will be returning in full force, and after my new Patreon catches up to the backlog, I will be releasing a new page every other week.

I have also started a new comic called The Trouble with Losing Weight about the mishaps I have had while striving to be healthier. This comic will NOT be regularly posted here on DeviantArt but can instead be found on  Tapas.

I have also begun the set up of a Patreon account where you can get both of these comic releases a week ahead of everyone else. All it costs is $1.

Sorry these are so sparse, between school and work, I have little time to work on this site. So here is an update for all of you who may care XD

    - I am now a sophomore and have (for the first time) succeeded in college thus far, with only one class (Personal Finances) failing to pass.

    - After applying desperately at the end of last year, managed to be accepted in the AFA (Associates of Fine Arts) Program the was just instituted at my college. Basically this degree will tell 4 yr universities that I know my stuff as far as basic art goes, and I can opt out of re-taking most of the fundamental classes. This is cool because I literally never took an art class before this college.

    - I reached my 10 years on DA.... which is weird to think about, because that means I am getting old....

    - Currently I am starting the "Big 3" Human Development courses here at my school. I am Taking Human Dynamics for Artists (which is anatomy focused on the skeletal/muscular system), which will eventually be followed by Figure Drawing and Human Sculpture. This school has already done a lot in terms of improving my anatomy, so I look forward to where this goes.

    - My parents moved to Florida, leaving me EVEN MORE stranded out on the west... and without an actually address to call my own. Luckily I have great friends here who let me stay with them occasionally.

    - I spent my Summer at a Girl Scout camp as a Business Manager (which eventually bled into Art Director as well), which sucked because I dislike being responsible for humans and the sheer amount of estrogen left me running for a place to hide, but was good because the fed, housed, and paid me for 2.5 months... so I am probably going back next summer.

All in all, a really weird year, since the last time I posted I hadn't even started left. Hopefully this year I will have more time to post (however 17 credit hours leaves little space so don't get your hopes to high). Thank you everyone who follows me and I'll see ya around!

Greetings Ladies, Gentlemen, and Others

I am excited to announce that, come fall, I will be returning to school in the attempt to obtain a bachelors degree. It's been 5 years since my last (failed) attempt and, in that time, I believe I have gained the patience and mental focus required to succeed... but I can know this for sure until school starts so I am quite nervous. 

I will be attending Snow College in Utah (2 year school) and will be taking their art focus as a springboard into an animation degree. My last attempt a school left me failing so badly that I am now unable to receive grants/scholarships so I am paying for the first year entirely on my own (which is why I am going to a cheap school). My hope is for extremely good grades so that next year won't be a problem as I move forward.

So the next two months will see some major changes to my life. I will be quitting my job, packing all my belongings and moving across the country. This may/may not leave me time to produce any content (I doubt that is surprising to any of you ^^) and I will only work on My Life as a Naga if homework/time allows.

I am excited however, and I am sure I will become a better artist from this (I've never taken an art class before). So wish me Luck!!
